According to sailors the best time to travel to the Seychelles islands is during the month of May to September. As this is the time of great winds blowing in their sails, taking them over the Indian Ocean so much faster; providing them with the feeling of exhilaration only sailing such seas can bring. It is also the time the Seychelles Tourism Board holds sailing competitions for yatch owners from all around the world.

For the newly weds, the best time to travel to the Seychelles is October to February period, which usually promises calm serene seas and sun shining all day long. This is the period of warm weather to idly bask in sun with not a care in the world.

Snorkelling fans can come to the Seychelles regardless of the season, for either way they will be wet during their holidays! The reef will remain the same even if it might be pouring with rain; with the pleasant contrast of rain drops washing the sea water off their bodies.

Although the rainy season may not be the best time to travel to the Seychelles for some, it is one enriching experience to actually be there when it is raining. The locals consider the rainy season to be the Seychelles

I’m doing a project from my French 3 class on traveling to other countries and what do to in these countries and I was wondering what would be the best route to travel from Richmond, Virginia to Mahé, Seychelles?

What countries/cities should I make flight connections in? Also, if you don’t mind, recommending airlines to take to get there.

I’m only a high school student so I’ve never planned at trip out of state, let alone out of the country, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
